Mission/Objective
Each year, the Walter A. Rhulen Award is given out by the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development to an individual who “demonstrates excellence in business, commitment to the community and service to humanity.” In 2018, the organization asked Capacity to put together a video that showcased the decades of hard work award recipient Senator John J. Bonacic had done for Sullivan County.
Deliverables
The Capacity team tracked down individuals who worked with the Senator, and we connected with citizens whom the Senator worked for over decades. We interweaved these interviews into a powerful story about the Senator’s accomplishments and achievements. The video that follows expresses the true value of excellence Senator Bonacic has committed to the humanity and communities in Sullivan County during his decades of service.

Results
The video evoked an emotional response from Senator Bonacic’s family in addition to a standing ovation from the audience. The crowd cheered and expressed their enthusiasm in applause for the Senator’s hard work and dedication. The video was a fitting tribute to Senator Bonacic.
